Trinity Western University GSA – Sticker Design
Overview:
I had the privilege of designing this sticker for the Graduate Student Association (GSA) at Trinity Western University. The GSA plays a vital role in representing and advocating for the rights of graduate students. It provides a supportive environment through events, professional development opportunities, and strong communication between students and the university. The sticker design reflects the Christian faith, unity, and support that are at the heart of the GSA’s values.
Sticker Design Features :
• Circular Pattern: The most striking feature of the GSA logo is the circular design, embodying a sense of unity and completeness. It symbolizes the Graduate Student Association’s focus on fostering a connected and cohesive community among graduate students.
• Faith-Based Typography: The use of the Biblical verse “God is Love” (1 John 4:8) in the outer ring ties the logo to the core Christian values of the university. The bold serif font used for “GSA” gives the design formality and clarity, making the message strong and clear.
• Bold Simplicity: The logo uses a minimalist but bold black-and-white color scheme, giving it a timeless and universal appeal. The stark contrast between the two colors creates a clear, striking visual that symbolizes transparency, truth, and integrity.

• Black (#000000): Represents formality, strength, and authority. It gives the logo a strong foundation and conveys seriousness and focus.
